Sava Centar is only 13km away from the airport and has its own technical entrance, subsequent for equipment unloading. The technical security, which is necessary for continuous operations of all devices on network in our Data Center, uses a combination of UPS devices (APC Symmetra) as a source of continuous power for short breaks and irregularities in power supply from local power grid and generators which start automatically in the case of prolonged interruptions in power supply.
Air conditioning and security
Data Center is air conditioned in accordance with the highest standards for cutting edge equipment, and, thus, the optimal temperature and humidity conditions are ensured regardless of the external influences.
The space with technical equipment has fire alarm (smoke and fire detectors) and combined physical and technical protection (presence of authorized person, ID cards for employees, physical security, cameras), thus is monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Redundancy
Network redundancy in Sava Centar is provided by optical transmission system in the EUnet metropolitan network in all access points, as well as by independent backup link.
There are 8 national nodes which are interconnected via dedicated network of rented lines from Telekom Srbija and they provide redundancy of infrastructure in all segments (main links, power supply, basic infrastructure equipment) which is unique in the region and it guarantees smooth functioning of Data Center and all services.
Network
EUnet network is designed to send IP traffic to and from end users in the fastest possible way and that is reinforced by direct exchange of traffic with all important ISPs in the country. This enables our customers to experience benefits of direct private peering with other ISP networks, combined with good access links and security provided by the redundant upstream link.
