DRaaS how does it work?

Your production system is constantly replicated over a secure connection to our EUnet Cloud, with the highest possible degree of safety. This allows you, in case of an accident, to activate failover to a replica of your system in EUnet Cloud.

Crossing the functionality of the secondary location (failover)

The break of the IT system can occur in any immediate moment depending on the type and extent of the accident, there are two typical scenarios.

Scenario 1: Physical accident

In case you find the whole building offline (for example due to fire, power failure, etc.),  the entire secondary system will raise, and access will be available to the appropriate users.

Scenario 2: System failure

In the case of hardware failure of the important components of the system, the corresponding secondary servers will be built in EUnet Cloud, and network routing configured, so that users can access them.

Concept “Pay as you spend”

The functioning of the service on a "pay what you spend" allows you to pay only a small part of the resources that you use for replication system. In the event of an accident, you can assign additional resources which are needed to activate the server to a secondary location. Once the system returns to normal operation, these resources can be canceled, thus achieving significant savings compared to conventional DR systems.

Regular testing, which is included in the price, allows you to be confident that the system will function properly at the moment when the need arises for its activation.
